Service Description

Parkinson's is a progressive nervous system disorder that affects movement. Symptoms start gradually, sometimes starting with a barely noticeable tremor in just one hand.Tremors are common, but the disorder also commonly causes stiffness or slowing of movement. ​ Benefits of Boxing for Parkinson's Disease: ​ Boxing training programs have been shown to have numerous positive effects on symptoms of Parkinson's disease ​​Warm-up exercises can help to stretch stiff muscles Focusing on instructions/targets stimulates cognitive processing Shouting exercises/counting out loud aids soft-voice disorder Footwork drills improve balance and agility Punching and core work build hand-eye coordination Improvement of coordination, muscles strength and posture General improvement in walking, reaction times, performance of daily activities and quality of life ​Get in touch directly with Georges for boxing for Parkinson's Disease.
