Boxing also helps people fight against diseases like Parkinson's.
Boxing will make you understand that nothing is impossible as long as
you believe in yourself.
Amateur Boxing
At Afewee Brixton Boxing Club, every member of the team continuously works to develop their individual skill set by learning the foundations of boxing, specific techniques, tactics and strategies which will lead them towards a competition.
Our Amateur and Semi-pro Boxing training program is designed to combine strength, agility, endurance and technique to maximise each boxer’s potential.
We train several times a week. Amateur Boxing Classes in Brixton, and throughout London.

Semi-Pro Boxing
Semi-pros/unlicensed boxing is a transition between amateur and professional levels.
In this boxing division, all participants are expected to have a certain level of skills, so we welcome any fighter with good boxing skills to join our training program.
We are also taking lower level boxers on board .

White Collar Boxing
Boxing is an individual sport, however boxer development has to be done in a team, so contenders get the chance to train with experienced amateurs and semi-pro boxers in order to maximise their chances of success.
There will be some specific and different instructions given to them, but they will also have the opportunity to practice and receive advice from more experienced boxers.
Training will take place at Afewee Boxing Club

Sparring
As a contact sport, boxing requires a lot of elements to be perfect. The training must respect all aspects and cannot be ignored.
Boxers benefit greatly from sparring, which enables them to practice in real world their skills, get them mentally prepared to defend themselves and familiarize them with the unique situation of a fight.
There is sparring training every Saturday from 3-5pm at Afewee Boxing Club.

Semi-Private
Semi-Private Training:
The semi-private personal training setting of this session gives you all the benefits of a one-to-one personal training while exercising in a small group of max 3 in Gymbox Farringdon.
You will still receive your very own personalised exercise program, however you will also have the added bonus of working alongside other people working towards similar goals.
This creates a fun, safe, non judgemental and motivating environment.

Boxing For Parkinson
Parkinson's is a progressive nervous system
disorder that affects movement.
Symptoms start gradually, sometimes starting with a barely noticable tremor in just one hand.
Tremors are common, but the disorder also
commonly causes stiffness or slowing of movement.
